With that being said you can probably already tell that I loved this book. It was a very interesting read – I have been reading a lot of paranormal romance. So when I opened this book to start reading I was hesitant, but I was soon engulfed by the awesomeness of Katy McGarry.
If you haven’t already read this Echo’s mom was kind of crazy and something happened one night and Echo has no memory she just has scars on her arms. She tries to cover them up and is just struggling to find herself. Her friends really pressure her to be that same person she was, but she’s just not anymore. I really liked that had perseverance and never gave up. She really was the kind of character that is a go getter and never gave up. Even though she had to go to therapy with the school consular she just went and wanted to find out what happened.
I really hated Echo’s friend Grace. Seriously Grace so because she’s not popular you’re going to stop hanging out with her? What a horrible friend and even in the end Grace never stuck by her. The Good friend in this all was . She stood by her. Even though, she ignored her during lunch. Which, I did really hate. At least, in the end she always had Echo’s back.
Noah. Hmmhh…. Noah was always the good boy before his parents died – he was the star basketball player and he also really lost his way. Noah also, really struggles in this story because he wants his brothers back and is willing to do anything for them and I thought that was really sweet, but I think the only reason he didn’t want to let go was because that was the only family ties he had left to his mom and dad. I really liked Noah’s character he was sweet underneath all that hate of being thrown into foster care.
When him and Echo met it really was fate. This was kind of a case of insta love, but you know what? Honestly I didn’t really care that it was, it was just that great. The way their two worlds connected and they had such a big impact on each other’s lives. They really helped each other find their way and in the end I loved how everything played out.
If you want to read a sweet contemporary novel, about two people trying to find their way. This is the story for you. Even if you are not on a contemporary novel “kick,” It will defiantly make you have one because I have read nothing, but contemporary, these past couple of weeks. I really loved this couple and it has to be one of my favorites. Seriously go check it out! :)
