Vi knows the Rule: Girls don't walk with boys, and they never even thinkabout kissing them. But no one makes Vi want to break the Rules more than Zenn...and since the Thinkers have chosen him as Vi's future match, how much trouble can one kiss cause? The Thinkers may have brainwashed the rest of the population, but Vi is determined to think for herself.

But the Thinkers are unusually persuasive, and they're set on convincing Vi to become one of them...starting by brainwashing Zenn. Vi can't leave Zenn in the Thinkers' hands, but she's wary of joining the rebellion, especially since that means teaming up with Jag. Jag is egotistical, charismatic, and dangerous--everything Zenn's not. Vi can't quite trust Jag and can't quite resist him, but she also can't give up on Zenn.

This is a game of control or be controlled. And Vi has no choice but to play.

When I started this book I was kind of confused -- between the advance technology and when she saw his dreams I got confused and had to reread it, but after I got into it I found I became really interested in it and it kept getting better and better.

VI, what can I say about her... I really liked her personality she was sweet, and had this bubbly personality. I hated her father who lied and betrayed her.
Jag omigosh how do you put him into worlds… How can you not fall in love with him? He had this bad boy attitude and I loved how he was his own person and not letting the thinkers ever control him; even thought there were consequences for not listening to the thinkers he lived with them .It was very entertaining to read Vi and him talking making jokes it made me sit there and smile and start laughing.Zenn, I believe he had good intentions most of the times besides lying to Vi.

I loved how developed and surreal the characters where to me. I fell in love not just with the characters, but this book. Everything was amazing; It was like I was sitting there off to the side watching them laugh and even sometimes argue through their journey. I believe there was somewhat of a message I got and it was don’t follow everybody be your o wn person.

The ending was a shocker! I was so curious and actually kind of mad at the ending because of how it turned out. I have many questions starting off like is this book going to turn into a series... I really hope so and I really hope if this book turns out to be a series I really hope that what happened in the ending changes in the beginning of the next book. This book had a very series like ending so I am very interested in what is going to become of the next book if there is a #2.

When Corrinne's father is laid off, her world suddenly falls apart. Instead of heading to boarding school, she's stripped of her credit cards and shipped off to the boonies of Texas to live with her grandparents. On her own in a big public school and forced to take a job shoveling manure, Corrinne is determined to get back to the life she's supposed to be living. She doesn't care who she stomps on in the process. But when Corrinne makes an unlikely friend and discovers a total hottie at work, she begins to wonder if her life B.R.—before the recession—was as perfect as it seemed.

Date Published:April 2009

 GoodReads Summary:
Seven months ago, on a rainy March night, sixteen year- old Willow?s parents died in a horrible car accident. Willow was driving. Now her older brother barely speaks to her, her new classmates know her as the killer orphan girl, and Willow is blocking the pain by secretly cutting herself. But when one boy ?one sensitive, soulful boy?discovers Willow?s secret, it sparks an intense relationship that turns the ?safe? world Willow has created for herself upside down. Told in an extraordinary fresh voice, Willow is an unforgettable novel about one girl?s struggle to cope with tragedy, and one boy?s refusal to give up on her.

Willows haves wonderful parents and a wonderful life, full of friends ;Until, one stormy night,a couple of months ago, in march when her parents are killed in a car crash and willow takes it to heart alot -- she balmes alot of it on herself because she was the one driving.
This book takes you through willow's journeys of starting high school all over again with new friends, new teachers and living with her brother, sister-in-law and her little niece, now.
Almost all the characters in this book are very easy to understand, except willow who is having trouble herself finding out what she is feeling about all the new things that are happening to her,the new people she meets and how to deal with her problems without cutting herself and she doesn't want to stop. That is until she meets Guy,who is there for her and cares about her. Guy is a sweet guy and he wouldn't leave her-- he always wanted to help and was very caring and didn't tell anyone else.
Julia Hoban makes this book so intense;Where you kind of feel bad for her,but she also has these moments in this book where you are like, wow and get happy for her .This book has such a mood what willow feels you feels and that makes it a better read.

Rating : Over-all this book was very interesting. Even though she got on my nerves sometimes they way she thought , I still enjoyed it. I give this book....
