Summary:
When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he’s not alone. When the lift’s doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade—a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls.Just like Thomas, the Gladers don’t know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they’ve closed tight. And every 30 days a new boy has been delivered in the lift.Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up—the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers. Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind
Review:
When I am reading a book I want to be interested and say Wow
or Omg. Well, in this book Dashner let
me have this with this very vivide and detailed story.
Throughout this book I Was thinking one word, ok 2 words OMG
and RUN! Yes, Run! I mean first of all this character Thomas wakes up in a
pitch black box. How scared would you be? To top that off he has no memories of
what has happened in the past. He than climbs up out of the box in this whole
other little world where there is only boys and every month on the same day
another one arrives. Until, the next day when a girl shows up
and all supplies are cut off. “The gladers”—the boys who live there – now start to fight for
survival and begin to question what role
does Thomas play in this.
Some strange
encounters begin to happen to Thomas. One being able to talk to this girl in a strange way.
hahahah RUN!!! I love your review.
